System Administrator (HEO 4)

The Information Technologist: System Administrator is an important member of the ISTS team and improves the performance of the IT function through system administration and integration. Working under the senior team members, this position will assist in the design, development, implementation and support of IT systems, applications and services. 

In this diverse role, you will perform routine system maintenance functions, install applications, tools and utilities, and liaise with users, technical user groups and team members on system support related issues. 

Skills and Experience 

You will have relevant post-secondary qualifications (diploma or associate diploma) or equivalent experience as well as a commitment to ongoing professional development. Time management skills, highly developed written and verbal communication skills and experience supporting, maintaining and upgrading third party software are essential for success in the role.

If you have exposure to and understanding of system development methodologies, standards and quality procedures and experience in designing, developing and supporting integration between existing systems, then we would encourage you to apply for this fantastic opportunity.
